Technology expert Prashant K. Rai of IANSK said the Deepfakes could create a risk of serious danger for a nation with populist, low literacy, knowledgeable and racial sensitivity.

Provu Ram, a cyber media research expert said that, the issue of distortion of images and videos has been coming for a long time. But the problem of video spoilers like Deepfakes can create a real risk in the social context. If used in the hands of a bad guy, these simple tools may use to spread false information.

Recently an app called Deepnude Deepfakes has been removed. That app became popular recently. The app had the advantage of virtualization someone with a few clicks.

The fake video has been posted again in Facebook-owned Instagram. But Facebook authorities said that they won’t remove the video.

The video originally contained ‘Deepfakes’ video, which was made using Artificial Intelligence (AI). It can create a variety of actions using a person’s picture.

Earlier, a fake video posted on Facebook of Democratic Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The Facebook authorities have to face criticism for this video. Facebook going to make many post machines in learning-based software. Which will automatically detect video and remove potentially harmful content. They will also create tools or computer programs that will help identify potentially harmful elements of the workers.

A Facebook spokesman said, “The way other false information is checking on Instagram, it will check in the same way.” If third party fact checkers give it a false view so it will remove immediately.

Last month, Facebook refused to remove a fake video of US Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi became anger because of this. They have ask the Facebook authorities if Zuckerberg had made such a video in place of Pelosi, would that be treat like the same?

Experts expressing concerns about Deepfake say that, it would be difficult to remove Deepfake content. Compare to remove common fake news or information.

According to a study by Pew Research, most adults in the United States believe that the distorted video will confuse them with recent developments and issues.

If Deepfakes spreads out and it will be a situation when people will not believe each other. The belief in the people may ruin for the long time. And the miscreants use the opportunity to create false video or content. And try to prove falsehood on individuals, special groups and communities.

Experts say that automatic identification process is still in the initial stage to capture Deepfake video. But in this case, there should be a chance to flag such content by adding awareness and technology support. And social media will also need to take appropriate action in this regard.
